Established in 1975, by Shri R.B. Bansal, a renowned Coal mining Engineer, M/s. Mining Associates Pvt. Ltd (MAPL), has developed as a conglomerate of largest drilling company for Coal, Coal Bed Methane (CBM) & Mineral exploration, and geo-engineering organization in the country with sector.

M/s. Mining Associates Pvt. Ltd (MAPL) a NABET certified, and member of IADC. It is also ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, & ISO 45001:2018 certified service provider of the country in the private sector for all types of drilling and exploration work except deep oil drilling under one roof. The company is based at Asansol, West Bengal with its branches offices at New Delhi, Udaipur. Its work site are spread all over the country and has a truly PAN India presence.

In 2013, MAPL had acquired full arm of Indian entity of Mitchell Drilling International Pty Ltd., A leader of Coal Bed Methane(CBM) exploration. MAPL has also formed a joint venture with Nation Drilling and Services Company LLC (NDSCO) of Oman namely Transnational Drilling and Mining Associates Pvt. Ltd., (TDMAPL).

The Company is fully equipped with resources and technical knowhow for taking up drilling work of Coal Bed Methane (CBM) exploration also. Apart from drilling MAPL has a descent number of Geophysical Loggers, IF Testing Units and Total Geophysical stations along with qualified and professional team of Geologists, Geophysicists, Mining & Mechanical Engineers, Drillers and drilling crew with long years of experience.
